Risk adjustment slider improvement request.

Postby samurai » Tue Sep 22, 2009 3:12 am

Hi,

I was so happy, when I noticed your matched betting calculator has slider to adjust risk. It was till the moment, when I discovered, it adjusts only to one side. Please, please, please - make it work to other side too.

Here`s explanation of why I need it:
I am especially interested in adjusting risk to other side, when bookies are offering huge rollover requirements. Then, I would rather prefer to loose 10% instead of 5%, if bet wins at exchange, than have loss of 5% for 20times (if bets win with bookie all the time) and loose all bonus. Hope, I made myself clear.

I would be so grateful, if admin of the site, could make it. I believe it is not much work, but would give many key advantage.

Cheers,
Samurai

Hi Samurai, first i want to welcome you to our community and i hope that you are enjoying it.
You have put ourselves a pretty good question and now we are thinking about developing it. However, untill then we advise you to follow what we have been doing, that is we recommend you to bet a bit less on betfair (apr. 5% of the bet value).

For example:

1)you have 50€ on Bwin, and our calculator recommend you bet 51€ on betfair
2)bet between 48€-49€ on betfair

If you do so, i'll think you have you problem solved.

Tried to calculate myself - not too complicated, but still minor slider adjustment would make your calculator perfect ;)

Also, unfor19 - the amount to deduct (you mentioned ~5%), does it depend on Betfair fee amount? Like, if I have 4,50, then I deduct 4,50 from Betfair stake... right? Sorry for dumb questions.. as I mentioned - math is not my strength

Hello samurai, the 5% was only a example.
You can play between 3%-7% maybe, but we will work on calculator asap.
